2 people seriously hurt in multi-vehicle crash in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — At least two people were seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle crash in North Philadelphia on Tuesday morning.

It happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of North Front Street and Indiana Avenue.

Chopper 6 was overhead, where you can see several heavily damaged vehicles and debris spread across the roadway.

Police say at least two people were trapped and had to be extracted from their vehicles.

They were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
