NORTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — Police officers surrounded a home in Northampton Township, Bucks County, on Monday night after three people were found dead, according to several law enforcement sources.
Chopper 6 was overhead around 5:30 p.m. after officers responded to a barricaded subject call in the area of Heather Road and 2nd Street Pike.

Neighbors say police began to swarm the area around 2 p.m.
“I’ve never seen anything like this. This is the most cops I’ve ever seen in one place ever,” said Garrett Hensel of Northampton Twp.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office called the situation fluid, adding that its detectives were assisting police with an active death investigation.
“Further information will be provided as soon as the situation is secure and facts are confirmed,” the DA’s office said.
Residents in the neighborhood were told to avoid the area.
Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation or identified anyone involved.
