Three injured in 2-alarm rowhome fire in Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — At least three people were injured in a 2-alarm fire inside a rowhome in Philadelphia’s Germantown section on Tuesday morning.

It happened around 7 a.m. on the 500 block of High Street.

Chopper 6 was overhead as heavy smoke could be seen pouring from roof of the home.

The fire was placed under control in about 45 minutes.

Officials say three people were taken to the hospital.

Their conditions are not yet known.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
