PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A big training opportunity for young theater performers is coming to Philadelphia this summer.
The one-week “Broadway Dreams” intensive will take place beginning on June 29th at Music Theatre Philly in Center City.
“We’ve really become a relentless engine of opportunity, turning raw potential into standard bearers on a global scale in Broadway theater”, said Neal Radding from the Broadway Dreams Foundation.
The nonprofit is dedicated to providing world-class training in dance, acting, and voice to young people aspiring to careers on Broadway.
The program in Philadelphia will be led by a team of Broadway professionals, and will culminate with a showcase performance on the final day.
There is no age limit, but there is an audition process, either virtual or in person on Saturday, March 22nd.
