Large pothole damages multiple cars on Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A large pothole caused major trouble for drivers traveling over the Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge in the Grays Ferry section of the city.

Action News received multiple tip calls from people expressing their concerns about the hole. The Action Cam was on the scene just before midnight Friday night.

Multiple drivers traveling eastbound across the Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge had to pull over after the pothole caused damage to their vehicles.

The crater-sized hole damaged tires on at least five vehicles, according to reports.

Police have since blocked off the affected section of the roadway to prevent further damage.

It’s unclear when road crews will be able to make repairs.
