Pedestrian struck, killed while crossing street in Ewing Township, New Jersey

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) — A pedestrian and struck and killed by a vehicle while trying to cross the street in Ewing Township, New Jersey late Sunday night.

The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. at 6th Street and Olden Avenue.

Debris from the victim’s bag and personal items could be seen strewn across the street.

The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene.

Video shows the bumper of the vehicle ripped off the car.

The victim has not been identified.

The crash remains under investigation.
