Montgomery County Community College hosts Presidential Symposium on diversity

BLUE BELL, Pa. (WPVI) — Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell hosted its annual Presidential Symposium on Diversity on Tuesday.

The featured speaker was Dr. Omékongo Dibinga, a noted author, poet and professor.

Dr. Dibinga’s presentation explored culture, unity, and materialism.

During his keynote address, he talked about the importance of celebrating one’s uniqueness and telling one’s own stories.

MCCC hosted virtual workshops throughout the week in conjunction with the symposium.
