POTTSTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Local women gathered in Pottstown today to help families in need.

It’s part of an event with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties known as a “Women Build.”

The event strengthens both those who volunteer, and those who will be receiving the benefits.

“When you see the look on the women’s faces… They really showed themselves that they could do anything they wanted. That’s the goal,” said Core Volunteer, Patti Post.

“The main activity will be demolition of a wall in the basement. This building is…three stories, and it’s going to be three condos in Pottstown,” she continued.

“Women Build” happens nationally in other affiliates of Habitat for Humanity.
