Charges filed after unauthorized car meetup in Kohl’s parking lot in Gloucester County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) — A man, 19, from South Jersey is facing charges that he organized an un-permitted car meet-up.

Washington Township police in Gloucester County posted images of the large crowd in a Kohl’s parking lot on March 14th.

Several people complained of racing, loud music, and a hit-and-run crash on Greentree Road.

Police believe another car meetup is planned for the upcoming weekend. Officers will be on site to shut it down, if it happens.
