CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) — Chester police are investigating an incident that left one person shot and another stabbed early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 1 a.m. on the 900 block of Barclay Street.

Police say they heard shots being fired as they arrived on the scene, where a large crowd was gathered across the street from Chester High School.

As the crowd dispersed, police found that one person had been shot, and another person had been stabbed.

Both were rushed to the hospital. Their identities and conditions are unknown at this time.

Investigators were seen going in and out of a house along the block and searching the area around the front porch.

Officials have not yet said what they believe caused all of the violence.

Chester High School is currently on spring break, so classes will not be impacted by the investigation.

So far, no arrests have been made.
