PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The TSA has reopened the checkpoint in Terminal C at Philadelphia International Airport.
It had been closed two weeks ago due to staffing shortages amid the partial government shutdown.
The closure created hours long lines at other checkpoints, especially in the morning.

TSA gents had been working without pay for more than six weeks.
President Trump signed an executive order giving TSA employees back pay as a temporary solution.
TSA checkpoints for Terminals F and A-West at Philadelphia International Airport remain closed.
