Police respond to call for multiple people shot in Trenton, New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) — Trenton Police responded to the report of multiple people shot on Monday night.

The gunfire erupted at the Trenton Housing Authority’s Donnelly Homes just after 11:30 p.m.

Officers cordoned off an area on the 900 Block of Southard Street.

It’s not clear what sparked the violence.

There’s no official word from police on injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation.
