BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) — A serious multi-vehicle crash left one person dead and closed the southbound lanes of Route 1 in Bensalem on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes between the Rockhill Drive/Neshaminy Mall exit and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Video from Chopper 6 showed three vehicles stopped at the scene, all with front-end damage.

The identity of the person who died has not been released. There has been no word of any other injuries.
All southbound traffic was still being diverted off at the Rockhill Drive exit as of late Tuesday morning.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
