LOS ANGELES — It’s been 50 years since the premiere of “Charlie’s Angels” on the ABC Network, and one star is ready to return to acting! “Charlie’s Angels” star Kate Jackson wants to get back in the saddle after a 20-year hiatus.
While chatting with On The Red Carpet’s George Pennacchio at the PaleyFest 50th Anniversary Celebration of the hit show, the 77-year-old explained her big announcement. “I have recently become interested in going back to work after all this time.” Watch the full interview above to see what Jackson says about all the “Charlie’s Angels” fans.
She made her acting debut in 1970’s horror show “Dark Shadows.” The actress shot to fame as one of the leads in the drama series”The Rookies,” then later joined “Charlie’s Angels” in 1976. She went on to star in two television series, “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” and “Baby Boom.” Jackson has starred in several movies and guest roles. Her last acting credit is listed as “Ambassador Elizabeth Prentiss” on “Criminal Minds” in 2007. She explained during the PaleyFest conversation that she decided to focus on being a mother, leaving the spotlight of Hollywood to raise her son Charles.
