NEW YORK — “Malcolm in the Middle” is back!
The red carpet was rolled out Tuesday night in New York City for the cast and crew of the popular TV show which is coming back for a four-episode revival.
The original show premiered more than 20 years ago.
Almost all of the original cast is back, including Frankie Muniz, who plays Malcolm, and says he was thrilled to come back.
“I love it. I could play Malcolm forever. You know what I mean? A lot of actors are like ‘oh I don’t want to do this anymore,’ this was awesome,” Muniz said. “Everyone loves the show.”

“There is intrinsic value in pure laughter,” said Bryan Cranston, who plays Malcom’s dad in the show. “Joy and laughter can actually make your day better. Maybe make your week better. It’s not a panacea. It doesn’t solve problems, but it does lift you up to take another step and another day.”
“Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” premiers April 10 on Hulu.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this station.
