PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A firefighter was injured in a house fire in Philadelphia’s Juniata Park section on Wednesday morning.
Flames broke out around 5 a.m. on the 3400 block of Kip Street.
Officials say the fire appears to have begun on a porch and spread to a neighboring house and garage area.
One firefighter suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The fire was placed under control about an hour later.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
