The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall Wednesday for a honey energy supplement after an undeclared erectile dysfunction medication was found in the product, the agency said.

“Akkarco LLC of Lorton, Virginia, is voluntarily recalling Ashfiat Alharamain Energy Support because the product contains undeclared Tadalafil, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitors,” the FDA said.

The product is sold nationwide on Amazon.com and other retail stores.

Consumers are advised to consult a medical professional if they experiencing any adverse events or side effects related to the use of the product.
