Philadelphia man finds car filled with snow after key fob mishap

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — One Philadelphia man learned the hard way that some key fobs can remotely open the windows on your car.

Anthony Romero of North Philadelphia posted a video on social media after discovering the windows on his brand-new vehicle had opened during Sunday’s snowstorm.

“My electronic keys accidentally opened the windows the night before a blizzard,” Romero told Storyful.

When he reached the car, the entire interior was covered in snow.

Romero said he was able to climb inside and blast the heat, which eventually melted the snow and helped dry out the vehicle.
