PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — While details remain limited on the new arena planned for South Philadelphia, we do know who will handle the food and drinks.
In a notable shift announced Friday, the Sixers and Flyers have selected Levy Restaurants – not Philadelphia-based Aramark – as their hospitality partner. Levy, a Chicago-based company, services about half of the NBA and NHL’s shared arenas.

“Very few cities are as devoted to their teams as Philadelphia, the loyalty and passion are part of the DNA that make the community so special. It’s both an honor and an invigorating opportunity to help amplify the best of Philadelphia,” said Levy CEO Andy Lansing in a statement.
Aramark will continue to serve as the food and beverage partner at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
“Our team is fully committed to delivering memorable gameday experiences, and we are grateful for the many decades spent fueling the passion and energy of the fans,” said a spokesperson in a statement.
The new arena is expected to open in 2030 and will also be home to a WNBA team.
