Philadelphia among cities to possibly host 2028 Democratic National Convention

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia is among the cities on the short list to possibly host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, the committee announced Monday.

Also under consideration are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Denver.

Representatives for the convention will visit all five cities this spring as part of the selection process.

The 2028 Democratic National Convention is scheduled for Aug. 7-10, 2028.

Philadelphia last hosted the DNC in 2016.
