Bicyclist hit and killed on Delsea Drive near Brenner Avenue in Deptford Township, NJ

DEPTFORD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) — Police in South Jersey are investigating a deadly crash that killed a bicyclist Monday night in Deptford Township, Gloucester County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene in the 1700 block of Delsea Drive near Brenner Avenue, where a large police presence was visible.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m., police said.

Authorities say the bicyclist was struck multiple times, and at least one driver remained at the scene.

Delsea Drive was closed for several hours during the investigation before reopening late Monday night.

The victim has not yet been identified.
