Celebration to mark Ben Franklin Bridge’s 100th anniversary

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — While the nation will be celebrating its 250th birthday this summer, a Philadelphia landmark will mark its own milestone.

The Ben Franklin Bridge is turning 100 years old.

The Delaware River Port Authority and the city of Philadelphia are planning a celebration.

The bridge will close to vehicular traffic on July 11th, so people can walk the bridge and enjoy food trucks, live music and more.
