PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — This morning, community members got their reps in to support people with rare diseases.
The owners of “Control Lab” raised $10,000 for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
They held a full day of work-out classes to fundraise in an event called “Rep for Rare.”
“Cameron was born August 18th, 2022…We did not know that he had galactosemia…Because of the doctors at CHOP, he is who he is today,” said Victor Spaulding, Founder & CEO of Control Lab.
“This community has just been incredible. I think it just shows how much people love Cameron and how much his story has affected people. It was really cool seeing donations come in that I didn’t know who the people were,” said Nicole Spaulding, Cameron’s mom.
People can learn more about Cameron’s journey and how to donate here.
