WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — With just about two months to go until primary Election Day in Pennsylvania, residents who reside in the 3rd Congressional District, currently served by Rep. Dwight Evans (D), had the opportunity to hear from the men and women who hope to replace him.

6abc Action News Anchor Sharrie Williams moderated The Black Women Have Questions: Congressional Forum on Wednesday night. Topics included everything from public safety and health care equity to housing and education.

Democratic candidates who participated include (in alphabetical order):

Morgan Cephas, Pa. State Rep.
David Oxman, Physician
Chris Rabb, Pa. State Rep.
Ala Stanford, Physician
Sharif Street, Pa. State Rep.

The forum took place at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Partners include Center 1968, Mount Carmel Baptist Church, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, PA Chapter, Inc., the National Congress of Negro Women, Delaware Valley Section, and the Urban League of Philadelphia.
