After debuting in 2009, Jersey Shore became an unexpected smash hit, running for six seasons and spawning several spinoff shows including The Pauly D Project and Snooki and Jwoww. The franchise also expanded globally, with international iterations like the U.K.’s Geordie Shore and the recently-launched Canada Shore.
Following the original show’s conclusion in 2012, Jersey Shore Family Vacation debuted six years later, reuniting the entire group while Sammi initially sat out the revival. However, she did eventually midway through season six in 2023, explaining that she was eager for a fresh start.
“I know there was drama and craziness and not all great times for me back then, but I’m hoping maybe this time around will be a little bit different,” she told Page Six at the time. “I’m more mature and I want to handle situations differently than when I was 22 years old.”
