Man arrested after allegedly threatening medical office employee with handgun

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) — A man is in custody after allegedly threatening a medical office employee in Newark, Delaware.

Police arrested 73-year-old Teddy Torres on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say he approached the office over a billing dispute, then revealed a handgun and threatened to take the employee hostage.

Police say Torres held a concealed carry permit.
