‘National Park Week’ to take place in commemoration of America’s 250th birthday

The National Parks Service is preparing to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

“National Park Week” will take place this year from August 22nd through the 30th.

During that week, a host of special events will commemorate the nation’s birthday.

Entrance fees will be waived on August 25th.

That day marks the 110th birthday of the National Parks Service.

There are 433 National Park sites across the country.

Every state and U.S. territory has at least one.
