The striking vehicle, described as a light‑colored SUV or crossover, fled northbound on Baltimore Pike.
CHESTER HEIGHTS, Pa. (WPVI) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred late Thursday night in Chester Heights Borough, Delaware County.
According to police, it happened around 11:45 p.m. in the area of Baltimore Pike at Red Roof Drive.
When police arrived on scene, they discovered the victim, identified as Steven Hulsey, unconscious in the northbound lanes of Baltimore Pike.
Medics took Hulsey to Riddle Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The striking vehicle, described as a lightcolored SUV or crossover, fled northbound on Baltimore Pike prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
The PSP Media Criminal Investigation Unit is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have information about the fleeing vehicle, to contact the PSP Media Station.
