People named ‘Ryan’ from across the country gather at Philadelphia Museum of Art

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Dozens of people named “Ryan,” appeared at the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps today.

“When you walk into a Ryan Meetup, you already know everyone’s name… and it is this ultimate icebreaker. To bring this community together today in Philadelphia is going to be amazing,” said Ryan Fisher, Chief Communications Ryan.

It’s part of a national organization: “Ryan Meetup.”

It was started by Ryan Rose in Brooklyn, New York with just a few people named “Ryan.”

Now, they have multiple chapters across the country, and have set up over 20 events thus far.

Ryan Meetup is a nonprofit, with charitable efforts also being a part of their mission.
