PA. CONVENTION CENTER (WPVI) — Come on Wednesday and you can unwind in the gardens with the Blossom and Breathe wellness-centric event.
There’s a botanical bazaar featuring local vendors and 10-dollar yoga sessions led by Noel Davis of Paris Fit.
Fido Friday is back: a chance to stroll the gardens WITH your pooch. It’s always a favorite.
Flowers After Hours is Saturday, March 7th, declared by some to be the the best dance party in Philadelphia. This year’s theme is Folklore of the Forest.
The Flower Show opens daily at 10am but you can take an early morning tour before the doors open to the public. Between 8 and 10 a.m. And guests have the opportunity to hear from expert tour guides about the exhibits. Opt for the photography tour and you’re paired with a professional who can point out the best angles.
Potting Parties are held several times a day hosted by Tu Bloom, the official botanical artist to the Grammy Awards. For 20 dollars, you get tips on potting the perfect plant… that you can then take home.
For a more formal education, head to Know to Grow, on the bridge just off the show floor with with top flight speakers from around the world to talk about different topics of horticulture.
There are three talks daily.
And then across from that is Artisan Row, so popular it is now double the fun. That’s the place of the flower show where you can come and make something to take home.
The Grand Hall transforms into Bloom City for the Flower Show. It’s where you’ll find the fan favorite, Butterflies Live! With hundreds of butterflies both native and exotic, flitting about.
The family friendly Kids Cocoon is right next door with a new dig bin this year.
There’s story time out there. You’ve got a place for families to sit and kids can play or interact with these garden experts.
