Reading Fightin’ Phils ‘Iced Coffees’ merch sells out, goes viral ahead of annual morning game

READING, Pa. (WPVI) — The newest identity for the Reading Fightin’ Phils’ annual morning game this August has gone viral.

“Reading Iced Coffees” merchandise is flying off the shelves.

Team officials say a limited run of merch sold out so quickly that everything is now only available for pre-order online.

The Double-A affiliate for the Philadelphia Phillies set a record for sales in a single day, just one day after making the announcement.

The annual morning game for the Reading Iced Coffees is set for August 25 at 11 a.m. against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, Pennsylvania. Click here for tickets.

The first 2,000 adults through the gates will receive an Iced Coffees hat.
