LOS ANGELES — “DIVAS Simply Singing! Raising Health Awareness” is marking its 35th anniversary with a one-hour special honoring activists and healthcare leaders who continue to advance health awareness and social impact.
The annual benefit concert, which is executive produced and hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and The DIVA Foundation, helps to raise awareness and funds for programs that promote the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening health conditions.
Performers include Andra Day, Jenifer Lewis, Mickey Guyton, “Abbott Elementary” actor Larry Owens and more. With special appearances by “Grey’s Anatomy” star James Pickens Jr., “Abbott Elementary” star Lisa Ann Walter, Tabitha Brown and more!
During the event in Nov. 2025, Jewel Thais-Williams received the Ivy Ralph Legend of Distinction Award posthumously, Dr. Maya Green was awarded the Wellness Warrior Award, and the Artistic Activism Award was bestowed upon Lula Washington.
With its rich decades-long history, “DIVAS Simply Singing!” has grown into the longest-running HIV/AIDS awareness concert in the world.
