This is the best [alternative] you could possibly find in terms of texture, shine and concentration of pigment. In terms of color, this formula has a slightly less-red, more plum hue, that I think is an improvement as it makes it makes for a more natural lip hue. I’ve always been the no-makeup makeup type, and this lip stuff (not a lipstick, also not a gloss or a tint) is the best way to achieve very natural, flushed, plump lip. Also, it lasts quite a while on my lips, and when it wears off, it does so in a way that doesn’t make it look like paint is flaking off your lips. Very moisturizing as well. I have bought multiples.
