PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Today, Old City was the host to some historical figures reimagined by talented interpreters.
The Betsy Ross House allowed guests to meet important women related to their history, as a way to celebrate Women’s History Month.
“One of the great things we do at the Betsy Ross house is you get to meet first person interpreters, and I think that’s the best way to share history,” said Lisa Acker Moulder, Director of the Betsy Ross House.
“I just hope that they can relate to Betsy… learn from the adversity she faced, and maybe come away feeling more empowered and connected to her story,” she continued.
