EXETER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — An Uber driver in Exeter Township, Pennsylvania got quite a surprise after a reptile was left behind in his vehicle.
The Uber driver told police he had picked up two passengers in Philadelphia after a reptile show.
Somewhere along the way, the passengers said the “contents” of their bag fell out.
They told the Uber driver they had lost some jewelry, and wanted to search for it, but the driver had to keep moving.
Once the driver wrapped up his shift, he came home to Berks County and parked in the garage.
The next morning, he opened the trunk and got the shock of a lifetime, when he found an unaccounted-for passenger from the night before.
It wasn’t jewelry that had fallen out, but a ball python.
Exeter Township Police were called to safely secure the snake, remove it and get it to the proper agency.
