TREDYFFRIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — An investigation is underway in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, after a woman was found shot inside her SUV.
Authorities arrived at the scene along Old State Road near Contention Lane just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
The victim was rushed to Paoli Hospital.
No word yet on her condition. Her name has not been released.
Neighbors described the incident as unsettling and unusual for this area.
“This is a quiet, residential neighborhood. Kids are out playing all the time, and to have something like this happen is really scary,” said Pete Long.
The District Attorney’s office says it will release more information as soon as it becomes available.
Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
