Woman killed, man rescued from house fire in Bensalem, Pennsylvania

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) — A woman was killed and a man was rescued from a house fire in Bucks County early Tuesday morning.

Flames broke out around 2:45 a.m. on the 2700 block of Bellview Drive in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.

Officials say a man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Authorities tell Action News the victim is a middle-aged woman.

Their identities have not been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
